NuMine extracts rare earth elements (REEs) from coal combustion residuals and legacy mining tailings using a proprietary acid-free leaching process. The US produces 100M+ tons of coal ash annually, much of it stored in unlined ponds creating environmental liability. NuMine converts this liability into valuable REEs critical for EV motors, wind turbines, and defense applications—while simultaneously remediating contaminated sites. Their process recovers REEs at 75% the cost of traditional mining.
